Location
The Jungle Hub nature retreat is nestled in San Francisco de Piedades Sur, a quaint village in the mountains close to San Ramon, Alajuela, Costa Rica.
The location of the retreat is quite remote, so we offer a complimentary pick-up and drop-off service in San Ramon to make your journey as smooth as possible. Our pick-up and drop-off times are between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m., ensuring flexibility for your travel plans.
Once you arrive at the retreat, you’ll find yourself surrounded by nature, without any nearby shops or stores. It’s important to prepare and bring everything you’ll need for the duration of your stay. This way, you can fully immerse yourself in the experience and enjoy the peace and serenity of the environment without worrying about any outside distractions. This remote location allows guests to truly disconnect and immerse themselves in the natural beauty of the surrounding environment.
How To Get There
Flight
Begin your journey by booking a flight to San Jose International Airport (SJO) in Costa Rica, the gateway to your nature retreat. While Liberia Airport (LIB) is another option, we recommend SJO for its accessibility and convenience.
Private Driver
For a more personalized and hassle-free journey, we can arrange a private driver to await you at the airport with a sign. This ensures a direct transfer to the farm without the need to change vehicles. While the private driver’s fee can vary (usually around 130 USD), it offers efficiency and comfort as the driver employs a taxi meter.
Uber
Alternatively, you can experience the convenience of an Uber ride, priced around 30 USD as per our last check. Uber offers flexibility and ease of use for travelers who prefer ridesharing services.
